They are literally extension screws for keeping more keys and in my case I didn't need it for more keys but to keep multiple RFID key fobs. Wish KeySmart still had this item in stock but I was able to find them on Amazon.

Bought it for the short screws. They work. Nice kit overall, but I only bought it for the screws
overall I like them the only problem I can see is I want to put my main key attached to it instead of folded into it because I'm worried about slipping or flexing and having it break off in a lock just in case of repeated bending over a period of time
Disappointed in the expansion accessories. The original key holder is fine on its own however when using the extensions you cannot tighten it down enough to hold together. It becomes loose and unscrews therefore doesn’t hold together so you’re constantly losing keys or trying to put it back together.
Bought alongside a Keysmart Air but they don't tell you on either page that the expansion isn't compatible due to differing screw thread sizes. Useless.

Ordered the Air,a multitool and the expansion kit. However, the expansion kit only comes with male threaded ends, but the thread is too large for the female thread on the keysmart air. My understanding was that it should be compatible. Now my multicoloured won't fit on the keys, so both that and the expansion kit aren't usable.
I’m a maintenance director and have a boatload of keys that to carry around every day. They are on rings and jingle around and put holes in my pockets. I was constantly trying to find the right key and struggling to pull them out of my pocket. Not to mention how noisy all those keys can be. I purchased the KeySmart Rugged and expansion pack hoping it would help. IT DID. My keys now fit comfortably in my pocket and are organized and quiet. 100% happy with the Rugged and Expansion Pack. Thank you KeySmart.

Excellent.
I bought the expansion pack to fit one of the tools with two keys and it was terrible. It constantly unscrewed itself which caused the keys to fall. Took it off and threw it away. I have many other Keysmart items that I love. This one, not so much.
Good key accessories, but be ready for your email box to be spammed epically as soon as you click “order” by Keysmart. Even after unsubscribing I still get emails a month later. It’d be impressive if it weren’t so obnoxious. Hopefully one day they will sell their rather good products on Amazon so you can skip the spam
Since I don’t have enough keys into each space because my several keys and other Multi-Tools are too thin or too thick while holding them inside my KeySmart Premium Key Holders device that works with Apple Find My app like an AirTag…

The additional components in the expansion pack allowed me to get my KeySmart back together after losing a few pieces when replacing keys from a lock set change. Super glad those parts are available separately.

A mio dispiacere ho ricevuto il pacco e ho dovuto a mia insaputa pagare le spese di spedizione al postino ero sicuro che le spese di spedizione erano comprese o al massimo pagate durante l’acquisto. Il prodotto è funzionante e non presenta difetti peccato che supporta massimo 8 chiavi e menomale che ho preso il modello max!!! Sono rimasto in po’ deluso visto che per usufruire della funzione tracciabilitá occorre sotto scrivere un abbonamento annuale di 33€ .
Works as promised
While it still keeps my keys in place yet very accessible, I really like the "find my keys feature.

I enjoy the KeySmart Pro, but assembling it with more than a few key is extremely difficult. Accessing the keys to open the doors is always easy. Had I paid full price I would be very unhappy.
Quality fine but it is thicker than the original screw and wouldn’t go through a thing or two (ok for keys though). Also it is made up of two or three short segments which tend to come apart first when trying to unscrew it, rather than behaving as a whole screw. Would have used threadlock but found I could get by with the standard screw, for now. When I need more keys, I can make it work.
